Last week, Northern Illinois University President John Peters announced he would step down in June 2013. The day after his announcement, Peters sat down with WNIJ's Mike Moen.
They discussed some of the initiatives carried out during Peters' tenure, along with funding issues related to higher education. Other topics include the response to the 2008 campus shooting and the many changes NIU has witnessed over the past decade.
