Get festive with a CocoaRita from Tequilarita?s in downtown Milford. This special holiday drink is made with RumChata, Patron XO Cafe and hot chocolate, then topped with whip cream and garnished with red and green holiday sugars.
DETROIT (CBS Detroit)?Caitlin Erickson of Milford House Bar & Grill knows what this area?s bar-going customers are looking for over the holidays.
?Right now, everyone wants Bell?s Christmas Ale or any kind of Christmasy ales, they?re also looking for Spanish coffee,? she said, adding that heavier, darker drinks are popular over the holidays.
Any coffee becomes ?Spanish? by adding shots of brandy and kahlua, and topping your cup with whipped cream. And that?s just one example of a holiday drink that will delight friends and neighbors during holiday gatherings. Get some of our favorite recipes below.
